Our products are made with YOU in mind. Our materials are naturally sourced. In order for a garment to be labelled certified Organic by The Global Organic Textile Standards (GOTS), there are stringent guidelines from harvesting of the raw materials, through environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing up to labelling in order to provide a credible assurance to the end consumer.

The organic cotton used in our garments is (GOTS). In order for the cotton to be certified, the cotton is grown without the use of pesticides, synthetic fertilizers, and genetically modified seeds.

The second component for the cotton to be considered organic is that it must be manufactured using eco-friendly dyes, inks, and cleaning agents as it is being made into a textile for production.  In Lil HipStar's manufacturing process, even the the left-over water after the dyeing process is safe enough to be used to irrigate directly without having any harmful impact on the environment.

Through passing all criteria in the certification, including the social criteria, based on the International Labor Organization. The social criteria ensures all employees are working under safe and hygienic conditions, and are all fairly paid.
